Hangs at Connecting to Local service

HI , trying to install a brand new client using "logonbox-vpn-client-windows-x64-2.4.0-590.exe", installing using admin privilege's, when starting the GUI, it just hangs with the Spinning circle showing "Connecting to Local service"
I have tried re-booting the PC, re-installing, but still not joy.
The Services.msc manager shows the Logonbox service as running. Again have tried stopping and re-starting the service
Any other suggestions please

I have the same issue, "Connecting to Local service"
installed logonbox-vpn-client-windows-x64-2.4.0-590.exe, rebooted computer.
log says:

Sorry about the delay, the client has been going through several fixes recently. Can you try the latest and let me know if that fixes the issues?
