Client GUI blanking on ubuntu 22.04 with cinnamon desktop

so, I have a working 3 user system at home, works fine for windows clients using gui client. I have a spare laptop running ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, it uses the cinnamon desktop and the I followed the instructions to login, download the Linux client and have done the apt install of wireguard tools - rebooted (several times now) and when I bring up the client - I enter my server address with no issue,, click next and then I receive a white blank box after it connects - I have nowhere to enter credentials???

Any ideas?

Just a note to add, same issue with the default ubuntu desktop, and with cinnamon (software rendering) desktop

and get exactly same on Linux Mint that comes with the cinnamon desktop.

I've seen this issue when your LogonBox system is behind a proxy, I wonder if this might be the case here?
In that particular case, the proxy (nginx) was stripping Content-Length from the request, which caused this issue in the client.

We released a EA version of the server (you can set the repository in Updates, Features & Licensing->Settings, so I'd recommend upgrading to that EA release and trying this again.
